Negative Pressure Fan Maintenance Tutorial: Make the Equipment more Durable
Daily cleaning: Avoid dust accumulation that may affect performance
Long-term operation of negative pressure fans will accumulate dust, oil stains and other impurities, leading to poor heat dissipation or blade imbalance. It is recommended to clean the following parts every 1-2 weeks:
1. Filter screen: Remove it, rinse it with clean water, dry it and then reinstall it (replace it when it is severely clogged. Refer to the manufacturer's recommended cycle of 3 to 6 months).
2. Blades and casing: Wipe with a soft cloth. For stubborn stains, use a neutral cleaner to avoid corroding the coating.
3. Motor heat dissipation holes: Blow them clean with compressed air to prevent overheating (if the motor temperature exceeds 70℃, the machine should be shut down for inspection. Refer to the "Safety Code for Industrial Ventilators" GB 1236-2017).
Inspection of Key Components: To Prevent sudden failures
1. Belt tightness: Check once a month. The downward pressure should be ≤10mm (if it is too tight, it will increase bearing wear; if it is too loose, it will cause slippage).
2. Bearing condition: Add grease every quarter (lithium-based grease is recommended. The dosage should refer to the equipment manual, usually 1/3 of the bearing cavity).
3. Electrical circuits: Check for any aging or loosening. The grounding resistance should be ≤4Ω (in accordance with the "Code for Acceptance of Electrical Installation Engineering" GB 50303-2015).
Lubrication and Consumable Replacement: Extending Core Lifespan
1. Motor bearings: Replace the lubricating oil once a year (shorten to 6 months in high-temperature environments).
2. Transmission components: Apply grease to chains or gears every month
3. Filter materials and sealing strips: Replace according to actual wear and tear. In humid environments, the cycle should be shortened to 2-3 months.
